How to UGC Scholarship Apply online and Criteria 2021
Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura are eligible to apply.
The candidate must have completed 10 + 2 or an equivalent program from a recognized board.
Scholarships are only available to students who have been accepted into their first year of undergraduate study.
Applicants have been accepted into accredited Universities / Colleges / Institutions for general degree programs, technical and professional degrees, including medical and paramedical courses (Integrated courses included).
The candidate’s family’s annual income is not greater than Rs. 4.5 lakh.
Candidates that identify as transgender are also eligible to apply for the Scholarship.
INELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR THE ISHAN UDAY UGC SCHOLARSHIP
Candidates enrolled in Open University courses or programs.
Applicants who have previously received a scholarship for an undergraduate program via another scheme are not eligible (s).
Students admitted based on a management quota ‘are not allowed to fill out an application form.
Students were taking courses that did not lead to a degree, such as Diploma Courses.
Students whose parents have an annual income of more than Rs. 4.5 lakh.
UGC Ishan Uday UGC Scholarship Amount 2021-22
Amount: The recipient student will get Rs. 5400 / – per month for General Degree courses and Rs. 7800 / – per month for Technical & Professional courses (including Medical & Paramedical programs) via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
If you are enrolled in a general degree program, you will be paid INR 5,400 each month.
If you are enrolled in technical, medical, professional, or paramedical courses, you will be paid INR 7,800 per month.
