There will be 54 CUET participating Universities and colleges from the academic session 2022-2023. This may come as a surprise to many, but the move aimed at reducing the pressure of higher cut-offs in most of the reputed central universities has been in the talks for a long time now.

Which University and Colleges are included in Central University Common Entrance Test 2022
There are 54 Central Universities in India at the moment including University of Delhi (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), etc. There is a common entrance test for 13 newly established Central Universities across different states. While the current CUET has been conducted once a year in offline mode, the newly planned Central University Common Entrance Test (CUET 2022) will be conducted in online mode by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To start with, the test will be conducted once for the academic session 2022-2023, but from the subsequent years, the test will be conducted twice a year giving students an opportunity to improve their scores if needed.

CUCET 2022 Application Fee
CUCET 2022 Application Fee can be paid by debit/credit card/net banking or Challan of SBI bank any branch. Candidates have to pay the application fee either online or offline mode. How to fill CUCET Application Form 2022?
The candidates have to fill CUCET Application Form 2022 to get registered for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Follow the below steps to fill CUCET 2022 Application Form.
Step 1 – Visit the official website of the CUCET to fill CUCET Application Form 2022.
Step 2 – Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the programme.
Step 3 – After clicking, candidates will be able to see three programmes options- UG, PG, and RP. Click on the link you wish to apply for.
Step 4 – Complete the registration process by entering details like program applied for, name, valid e-mail-id, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen.
Step 5 – Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and are sent to the registered email address and mobile number.
Step 6 – Use the application number and password to log in and fill up the application form by entering the log-in details like personal, academic qualification and communication address.
Step 7 – Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in prescribed format and dimensions.
Step 8 – Select the examination centres- In order of preference, select and enter the exam centres.
Step 9 – On successful online application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number.
CUCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the CUCET 2022 Exam can check the required eligibility criteria set by National Testing Agency for admission to UG (undergraduate) & PG (postgraduate) Courses before they start filling out their application form.
CUCET Education Qualification
The academic qualifications for Undergraduate Courses, Post Graduate Courses and PhD Programmes are different which has been discussed below for each course. Check the CUCET Academic Qualification for the course you are going to opt.

PhD Programme | The candidate must have a post-graduate degree in the particular stream with a minimum of 55% marks for general candidates, 50% marks for OBC candidate and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidate. |
CUCET Reservation
As CUCET is an entrance exam for admissions to UG courses at the Central Universities, which have been established under an Act of the Parliament, each Central University must follow the norms set by the Government of India, with respect to intake and reservation of seats. This section of the CUCET Eligibility provides relaxation to the SC/ST, OBC, and PwD category.

CUCET 2022 Exam Pattern
NTA will also conduct CUCET Exam in 12 scheduled languages apart from English and these are Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and Punjabi. Check the exam pattern for CUCET 2022 from here.
1. CUCET 2022 will be conducted in an online mode this year, earlier, the exam was offline.
2. The duration of the CUCET Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).
3. The question paper will be MCQ type only and there will be a total of 100 questions for 1 mark each.
4. There will be 2 sections in CUCET 2022 Exam: Part-A and Part-B.
5. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
